- 该项目位于塞内加尔南部的Sare Oura村，坐落于村中心的一个开放空间。项目的主要概念是最大化单栋建筑的功能。为实现这一目标，设计将空间划分为两个独立的私人和公共区域，每个区域分别满足特定的医疗功能和社区需求。私人部分主要作为产妇护理中心，确保准妈妈们有一个安全舒适的环境。同时，公共区域被设计为方便村里所有居民使用的多功能空间，提供村内各种活动的公共中心，如产前和产后教育、普通健康教育、急救课程、村民会议、儿童活动、公共活动等。

- 不同高度的屋顶被用来为连接产妇护理中心所有主要功能的主走廊提供光线。

- 鉴于西晒问题，设计了遮荫廊道以提供防晒保护，这不仅可以减轻日落时的直射阳光，还增加了建筑的美观和功能性，凹进的设计和绿色植物的使用也使廊道成为一个愉快的室内外过渡空间。

- 在东侧，围绕产房和病房区域，引入了封闭的花园空间。这些花园提供了更多的隐私，创造了一个宁静稳定的环境，通过提升舒适度和微气候条件，支持母亲和其他用户的健康。

- 在北侧，类似的封闭花园被设计用来容纳各种公共活动。这些户外空间作为多功能场所，可以举办社区聚会、工作坊和娱乐活动，进一步丰富村庄的社会结构。

- 该设计不仅满足实际需求，还旨在提升Sare Oura居民的生活质量。通过将功能性与精心设计的建筑元素相结合，本项目不仅希望成为一个主要的产妇护理中心，还希望成为社区生活的活力焦点，促进用户之间的互动、健康和福祉。

 

- The project is located in Sare Oura village , southern Senegal, situated on an open space within the village center. The main concept of this project is to maximize the functionality of a single building. To achieve this, the design divides the space into 2 distinct private and public areas, each serving specific healthcare function and community needs. The private section primarily functions as a maternal care center, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for expectant mothers. Meanwhile, the public areas are designed to be accessible and versatile to all the community members, providing a communal hub for diverse activities within the village, such as prenatal and postnatal education, general heath education, first- aid courses,village community meeting, kid’s activities, public events and so on.

- Different heights of roofs are used to give light to the main corridor, which connects all the principal functions in the maternal care center.

- Given the solar exposure issue on the west side, shaded loggia is incorporated for sun protection, these not only provide relief from direct sunlight from the west during sunset, but also contribute to the aesthetic and functional aspects of the building, the set-backs and use of green plants also gives the loggia a pleasant stay as a indoor-outdoor transition space.

- On the eastern side, surrounding the delivery rooms and ward areas, enclosed garden spaces are introduced. These gardens offer increased privacy, creating a serene and stable environment that supports the well-being of mothers and other users by enhancing comfort and micro-climatic conditions.

- To the north, similar enclosed garden is included to accommodate various public activities. These outdoor spaces serve as versatile venues for communal gatherings, workshops, and recreational events, further enriching the social fabric of the village.

- The proposed design not only addresses practical needs but also aims to uplift the quality of life for residents in Sare Oura. By combining functionality with thoughtful architectural elements, this project seeks to create a space that not only serves its primary purpose as a maternal care center but also becomes a vibrant focal point for community life, promoting interaction, health, and well-being among its users.
